The perfect pub

It’s another Sunday afternoon and I’m at work behind a bar. It’s been a quiet weekend and today is no different.

As a sit here I’m thinking about the four hours sleep I’ve had and the lack of customers. Right now I’m in the pub on my own! And that’s, well, that’s just great!

In the last hour I’ve had a lovely conversation with a couple from Swindon. Two really nice people whom I enjoyed talking with.

But that’s about as far a my conversational skills will stretch today. There’s no shame in just wanting to give up and go back to sleep.

When is it going to be bed time?
